The year 2021 will be remembered for the political crisis in Afghanistan, as the nation fell like a pack of cards before the Taliban. The rapid collapse of the Afghan security forces and the Taliban’s seizure of power in Afghanistan is bound to have a wide range of strategic and geopolitical implications, both regionally and internationally. As the world’s powerful armies make a retreat, the international community is dreading a reign of terror on Afghan soil.
CPPR conducted a webinar series based on the ongoing stalemate in Afghanistan and intends to comprehend the changing dynamics associated with the Afghan political crisis and its prospects by engaging experts from the realm of academia, think tanks, and media.
