Centre for Public Policy Research (CPPR) is a consultant for the study on “Elaboration of a Sustainable Public Transport and IPT Scenario for Puducherry Agglomeration”. The project is initiated by the Transport Department of Puducherry Government with the support of AFD and French Consultant Consortium DVDH-Transamo-Transitec. CPPR is conducting and supervising an extensive Origin-Destination Survey, Traffic Count Survey, Boarding and Alighting Survey proposed to quantify the current traffic flows within Puducherry agglomeration. The objective of the study is to collect input data for developing a reference transport model for public transport improvement plans in the future.
