Centre for Public Policy Research (CPPR) hosted a live webinar on the topic, ‘The Pandemic and the Presidential Election in America’ at 3:00 pm on July 30 (Thursday), 2020. The webinar discussed the two main concerns; The 2020 elections during the pandemic and the US-China relations.
The distinguished speaker for the evening was Prof KC Abraham, Advisor and Academic Director at CPPR. The discussion was moderated by Gazi Hassan, Senior Research Associate at CPPR. The discussion delved into the details regarding the US Federal administration’s response to the pandemic, America’s increasing isolation from multilateral institutions, and the changing social and political dynamics in the US. America’s foreign policy of the Trump administration and the changes that might ensue in the next term was also highlighted.
