Dr Ila Patnaik (Professor, National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, New Delhi) delivering CPPR 14th Quarterly Lecture on ‘Economic Growth in India: Trends and Cycle’ on July 27, 2017.
Dr Ila Patnaik is former Principal Economic Advisor to the Government of India. She has served on various working groups and task forces of the Ministry of Finance, such as the independent Public Debt Management Agency, the Resolution Corporation, the Financial Redress Agency and the Financial Data Management Centre. Her research interests include international macroeconomics, finance and emerging economy business cycles. Her research papers have been published in scholarly journals such as the Journal of International Money and Finance, the World Bank Economic Review, International Finance, and in collected volumes.
