“The Vikasarth Conversations” was jointly envisioned by the Centre for Public Policy Research (CPPR), India and the Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET), New York as a platform that brings together a small and curated group of persons involved in legal, economic, and public policy spheres to deliberate on pressing governance challenges via an interdisciplinary approach. The Vikasarth Conversations 2022 is on the topic “Thirty Years of Indian Economic Reform: Assessing the Growth and Development Experience of Kerala.” A three-part online conference series is being proposed for this purpose. The dialogues and deliberations in the series will examine Kerala’s growth trajectory during the past three decades with a focus on key issues like knowledge economy, employment challenges, macroeconomic strategy in the key sectors of the state’s economy (agriculture, industry, tourism, ICT etc.), rural and human development, investment climate and entrepreneurship.
