Dr Sandeep Shastri

“The new centre of Indian politics is not the Centre, but the states” argues Dr. Sandeep Shastri.  In the context when election fever has once again gripped India, it is appropriate to look into the political scenario of the world’s largest democracy. An overview of general elections 2014 and the emerging trends in Indian politics in comparison with the democratic ideology is analyzed here. How far are we on the way of our democratization? And how politicized and concerned the Indian voters are now?
