The Centre for Public Policy Research documented learnings from Kerala’s Model of Crisis Management to identify lessons of policy practices and inform the thinking of policy-makers and key stakeholders to effectively respond to future eventualities. The Project was supported by Omidyar Network India as part of their Rapid Response Funding Initiative to address the Covid-19 crisis.
The study explores the interventions done by both government and non-government actors in response to the situation which facilitated the State of Kerala to effectively contain the spread of the virus during the first two waves of infection. The research intends to propose a framework that is scalable and can be remodelled to suit the specific requirement of other states of India.
