Kochi : The U.S. Consul General Chennai Ms Judith Ravin visited Centre for Public Policy Research(CPPR) on the 04th April 2022. She had an engaging discussion with the CPPR Senior Fellows and scholars on how the U.S.-India relationship has undergone a transformative change over time and how the two countries have become even closer with the increasing convergence of interests and democratic values. CPPR has extensively collaborated with the USCG Chennai and is working on building the Indo-U.S. relations. They are currently working together on a project titled ‘U.S. – India Partners for Change’ and as part of the project they are organising an international conference on the 19th and 20th of April on ‘India US Relations: Change, Continuity and Transformation’ where experts from the U.S. and India will be participating. She was accompanied by head of Cultural Affairs Mr Scott Hartmann.
The meeting was attended by CPPR Chairman Dr D Dhanuraj, CPPR Advisors PK Hormis Tharakan and Amb Venu Rajamony, Honorary Distinguished Fellow Rtd Vice Admiral MP Muralidharan, Senior Fellow Muraleedharan Nair, KV Thomas and Shelly Johny and Trustee Antony Dawson.
