“State election results reiterate that the BJP is a formidable political force in the Indian elections scenario that cannot be easily challenged or done away with by an indecisive and unaccommodating opposition. It also shows PM Modi has not lost his charisma and can pull the elections in his party’s favour handsomely even now. The opposition has to keep their house in order before they set out their campaign for 2024. They have to come up with a credible vision about the future of India to pitch it before the electorate to win over their minds. Merely confining to the welfare schemes and caste politics would not help them to see the day in 2024. It is a mammoth task now“.
