CENTRE FOR COMPARATIVE STUDIES (CCS)
The Centre for Comparative Studies is launching an academic study into electoral politics of India.
The study will be conducted at the local, the state and at the national levels. The objective of the study is to look at a gamut of topics related to the elections such as understanding and forecasting the electoral behaviour of the voters, class and caste representations both in voting behaviours and in the distribution of the seats, catalogue poll issues in rural and urban areas, money spent on the elections.
We welcome applications from highly motivated graduates and post graduates in Social Sciences, such as Political Science, Sociology; Management; and Engineering. This will be a 2-month long, paid internship which will start from mid February and last till mid April.

CENTRE FOR URBAN STUDIES (CUS)
The Centre for Urban Studies is launching a study on: Project implementation by Urban Local governments in Kerala.
The study will focus on the legal and structural issues faced by local governments. The objective of the study is to gain a comprehensive understanding in related issues such as, waste management and public infrastructure.
The study will be undertaken on the basis of training workshops which will be held at the local level (councillors) in Kerala.
We welcome applications from highly-motivated graduates and post graduates in Social Sciences, such as Political Science, Sociology; alongside Management; and Engineering, to take part in this background study. This will be a 2-month long, paid internship that will start from mid February and last till mid April.
