is a project of CARSS, the Center for Advancing Research and Solutions for Society at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. SMART focuses on sustainable transportation and accessibility in city regions of the world. “Connecting the dots” refers to a support seamless, multi-modal (and safe and affordable) door to door trips for all transport users. In particular they focus on New Mobility Hub networks, IT innovations and enhancements, service innovations, urban planning and design for accessibility, innovative financing and policies, and other integrative approaches.
Ms. Susan Zielinski, Managing Director, SMART addressed the audience with her solutions to the issues prevailing in the city at present. Mr. Gordon Feller, Chief Executive Officer, Urban Age Institute and Mr. Gary Lawrence, Urban Strategies Leader also joined the discussions. This round table interactive session was joined by officials from the Government, the Media, Academia, Bureaucrats and other Corporates.
