November 24, 2017CPPR to Conduct Analytical Research Projects for Madhya Pradesh
CPPR has initiated two analytical research projects for the Government of Madhya Pradesh. The projects jointly assigned by the Planning and Policy Support Unit (PPSU) of the Madhya Pradesh State Policy and Planning Commission, Government of Madhya Pradesh and UNICEF, will pave the way for the fulfilment of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
- Equity Analysis
CPPR is carrying out equity analysis for the Madhya Pradesh Government. The study intends to assess the status and trends in the realisation of children’s and women’s rights in the state. It will also provide an analytical framework to understand the causes for the shortfalls and disparities across various groups, and accelerate the completion of the SDG.
- Public Expenditure Analysis Focusing on Children and Women
Public expenditure analysis focussing on women and children in Madhya Pradesh will track and monitor the expenditure pattern of the government at all levels and dimensions of the SDG. The study will focus on sectors such as health, education, nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene, and child protection, which account for the highest share of government expenditure.
