D Dhanuraj, Chairman of the Centre for Public Policy Research (CPPR), participated in TMJ Kerala Nxt Decade – Mobility, a discussion on the changing landscape of public transport and mobility in Kerala. The conversation explored the state’s evolving travel patterns, the growing dependence on private vehicles despite investments in public transport, and the need for a more integrated and commuter-centric mobility system.

Dhanuraj discussed the importance of strengthening public transport through better planning, seamless multimodal connectivity, and policies that prioritise accessibility and sustainability. The discussion also examined how improving mobility can contribute to safer roads, reduced congestion, and a better quality of life for citizens.
