‘‘Women are the largest untapped reservoir of talent in the world.’’Hillary Rodham Clinton, Former US Secretary of State

In an attempt to reflect on where India and particularly Kerala stands today and where it is likely to be headed in terms of equal economic opportunities for women, Centre for Public Policy Research (CPPR) is organising a webinar in collaboration with Junior Chamber International (JCI) on the said theme. The distinguished speakers will deliberate on bringing about gender-just employment opportunities and building an enabling environment for women in factories. This webinar is structured as a discussion on the declining women’s participation in factory employment, the legal perspective of the problem women face, and other challenges in the employment of women in factory work force, and the way forward, followed by a Q&A session from the audience.
