Elections are not just about power politics, it has got deeper social and behavioral underpinnings within. As there are only a few days left for the results of Kerala State Legislative Assembly election, CPPR brings you the post-poll survey results of the election. The survey was conducted in the second week of April in selected constituencies which are spread across the state. Along with the political implications and caste/religion dynamics, people’s perception about the current government and their expectations for the next has also been accommodated in the survey. The findings of the survey will be discussed in the webinar by Dr G Gopakumar (Former VC of Central University of Kerala) ,K V Thomas (Senior Fellow (Internal Security & Extremism) and Dr D Dhanuraj (CPPR Chairman) on 30th of April at 5.30 pm.

Dr G Gopakumar– Professor Dr. G Gopa Kumar is Advisor to CPPR and a former Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Kerala. He specialises in areas of International Relations, Comparative Politics and Indian Politics and is also a part of CPPR’s Board of Advisors.

K V Thomas- Senior Fellow (Internal Security & Extremism) and has over 36 years of distinguished service in the Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. He has worked in various capacities in different parts of India including insurgency-affected areas of the North East, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala and is well-versed in the socio-economic, political and developmental issues in those states.

Dr D Dhanuraj- Dr D Dhanuraj is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the Chief Executive of CPPR of which he is also one of the founding members. He is also a well-known panelist on prime time news on regional news channels and writes extensively for news portals and magazines.
