CPPR – Centre for Comparative Studies will be organising a talk on ‘Goods and Services Tax – Concept and Concerns’ by Mr Aneish P Rajan, Indian Revenue Service Officer. He is currently the Deputy Director heading the Kerala Directorate General of Central Excise Intelligence.

The session will be held on 14th December 2015, Monday from 4.30 pm onward at CPPR office.

Aneish P Rajan is currently the Deputy Director, Directorate General of Central Excise Intelligence heading Kerala state, heading the Kerala regional Unit. He is from 2008 batch IRS. He served as Asst.Commissioner of Central Excise and Customs from 2010-2012 in Ernakulam.

He is one of the founding members of the Centre for Public Policy Research and earlier served in the organisation’s Board of Trustees. Aneish received his Masters degree in Political studies and M.Phil in Political Studies from the Centre for Political Studies, School of Sciences at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He had also served as Guest Facuty in CPS JNU.His current research interests include -political theory, modernity-political &social, early literary imaginations of the modern, regional disparities and development with special focus on taxation
