Josh Talks in collaboration with Facebook is hosting their fourth event of the year on the 19th of August, 2017 in Kochi. The day-long conference cuts across genres, bringing you a wide narrative on India. We explore an idea of measuring growth and progress that governments don’t want people to know; a comedian talks about why people take offence; we find out what a doctor learnt from the terminally ill; what inspires a young prodigy to explode on stage with his guitar, and a lot more.

Here is the speaker lineup of Josh Talks Kochi 2017 :
1. Vinay Menon – Comedian
The educator and comedian from Cochin asks why Indians get offended so easily
2. Kirthi Jayakumar – Peace-builder and Writer
A survivor of sexual violence and bullying, Kirthi withstood the trauma and now works for peace and gender equality. A novelist, playwright, activist, and educator, she tells her story.
3. Sultan Ahmed Ismail – Ecologist
A public speaker, ecologist, and educator, Sultan Ahmed Ismail believes that we have brought ourselves to the brink of destruction. Now, it’s time to stop living for our sake, and start living for Earth’s sake.
4. Radhika Menon – Entrepreneur
Can a Facebook conversation spark a successful business? That’s how the Village Fair was born. Through this enterprise, Radhika is now reviving a list tradition in the Indian Kitchen.
5. Priyanka Idicula – Social Entrepreneur
