CPPR-Atlas Public Policy Challenge workshop successfully concluded on 14th November 2015. The 4 day Policy Challenge workshop was conducted for 10 candidates selected from across the country. The participants were selected on the basis of the policy briefs submitted by them. The 10 participants were selected from a pool of 71 applicants. The 4 day policy challenge workshop focused mainly on Public Policy and Policy analysis.
The sessions of the workshop covered areas such as Introduction to Public Policy, Public policy : Pressures and Pitfalls, Data Mining and referencing, Sources of Secondary Data, Academic writing and Policy evaluation. The sessions handled by senior bureaucrat, academicians and consultants was a platform of learning and also a source of inspiration to the participants. The discussions and debate on policy brief’s of each participant helped them to have a better understanding on their topic.
The feedback received from the participants was encouraging and the suggestions made by the participants will be taken into account in our next edition.
