The Vytilla Mobility hub should be treated as an integrated hub connecting different modes of transport in the city. The location enables it to connect metro, waterways, National Highway and the Railway. It should be the focal point to control all modes of transportation in the city. Adequate parking space should also be provided in the hub so that more people will be attracted to public transportation. Unless adequate parking facility is available, the use of private vehicles will continue to rise. If the idea of common card can be extended to the mobility hub, it will be a boost to the concept of mobility hub.
