Punjab Election 2017 presents an unprecedented challenge to pollsters. On the one hand, there are issues like anti-incumbency factor and corruption charges against the Badal Government (SAD) and the fight for survival of the Congress Party. On the other hand, the increasing presence of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has made the business of punditry difficult these days. Anupama Ghosh, an intern with CPPR, compiles the data of the previous elections in Punjab along regional aspects, in order to help the pollsters get their data right for the state in the slide presentation.
