Study on achievement level of 6th standard students in Kerala

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) is a Government of India’s flagship programme launched in 2001 for the achievement of Universalization of Elementary Education (UEE) in a time bound manner. SSA is being implemented in partnership with State Governments to cover the entire country. This is the second time CPPR is partnering with SSA, Kerala. The current topic is Third party survey to analyze the achievement level of 6th standard students in both Mathematics and General science “.

 

The particular study is carried out in rural, urban, tribal and coastal area in govt/aided schools under SSA. The study is conducted in 5 districts of Kerala namely Ernakulam, Palakkad, Kannur, Pathanamthitta and Kollam. From the selected school students, the study covers assessment of both scholastic and co-scholastic aspects in 6th standard students.
