CPPR has been assigned to contribute a Chapter for the book on “Role for markets in the public policies of Indian states- Case, Challenges and Responses. This book project is a collaboration between the Takshashila Institution and the Heritage Foundation,to study the role markets are playing in the public policies of Indian states.
CPPR will be undertaking a Study on Private Buses of Kerala which is a dominant player in the public bus sector. The Study will trace the political and policy process of Private Bus role in the public sector. It will further identify how the state government of Kerala helped private operators to play an instrumental role in the public bus sector unlike other states in India
